No True Justice in this World

I just got done crying my head off. Why? I'll try my best to explain...

I just watched a video that showed an American military man recount the story of a violent and deadly suicide-bombing during a recent time when our military pulled out of a country we had been in for a while.

While I can't recall every detail, this brave American military man testified before a government committee about how he and his team had spotted a terror suspect who was known to be training for a suicide-bombing attempt. The intel was good and he and his team got full confirmation from yet others. They knew what he looked like, who he traveled with and what kind of car he was driving.

God loves geeks too!
Why Jesus?

There was little doubt that this suspect was about to carry out his mission, and he was now making very provocative moves that signaled he was ready to strike. This military man asked his superiors, over and over again, if they should take down this suspect, but each time his superiors basically shrugged and said they didn't know.(!!??)

In a moment everything changed for this American military man. There was a flash, a pressure wave then the sensation of being thrown into the air. When he came to, others in his team were laying around him, either dead or seriously injured, and he saw that most of his arm was gone and his torso was ripped open, with ball bearings lodged in just about every part of his body. He passed out but came to again in time for a team member to find him, drag him to safety and triage him as enemy fire fell all around them.

If this man's superiors had been military men of days gone by, this horrible act of violence may have been thwarted. While not perfect, the American military leaders of days-gone-by would often set their faces like flint and command their troops into battle and be there to lead them. Instead, these modern-day superiors hemmed and hawed and left their troops to be killed and seriously injured.

Instead of training men and women in combat, strategy, skill and valor, our government and military are currently too busy doodle-bugging around with diversity, equity, and inclusion. Instead of learning how to be a soldier, our troops now must endure drag shows, forced trans narratives and worrying about hurting someone's feelings. "A little yeast works through the whole batch" is most certainly right, and the devil just loves it! A few drops of dark food coloring can cloud an otherwise clear glass of water.

My wife and I both have had family members who served in the military, some still serving in the reserves. Our military family members have served in the interest of protecting the citizens and country of the United States. They did so because they believed that our government, citizens and country deserved to be guarded from domestic and foreign enemies alike. They didn't join the military to be whipped to death with erroneous and deviant ideology!

While I still have much thought to commit on actually being willing to kill someone, I truly believe that those in the military who have taken a life in the line of duty took no pleasure in it, nor was it their first choice. While I fully and completely support those men and women who serve our country in the military, the police and similar roles for the right reason, I am extremely disappointed in those leaders, both civilian and military, who are more interested in internal power struggles and popularity contests. Nothing perpetuates the grief of a spouse, family member or friend than knowing that the death of their loved-one could have been avoided, and that their lost loved-one's leaders fumbled the ball -- badly.

While my goal and desire is for peace among my family, my neighbors and anyone else I encounter in life, this really isn't attainable here on earth. The only true and purest form of peace is in knowing and being a part of Jesus Christ! Jesus is the one commander that will never let us down, never fails and has already won the war! He doesn't fool around and try to one-up his colleagues, he doesn't play the popularity game or shirk his responsibility. No, Jesus died a horrible death on the cross to give true freedom to anyone who turns their back to an empty life, believes in him and calls on his name. Jesus didn't mess up, never fails and knows what it's like to lay his life down for his friends.

Dear reader, if you haven't already, I urgently plead with you -- give your heart to Jesus! No, life doesn't suddenly become easier, you probably won't get suddenly rich nor will all of your problems go away, but when you live in Jesus, you're not alone in your struggles, and he often provides help in unexpected ways that you never could have imagined before him.

Prayerfully no one who reads this thinks I'm a bigot, a homophobe or some maga extremist. I am none of those things. But what I am is someone who wants to please God, someone who knows that having sex with anyone before marriage is wrong, and I know marriage is only between a biological man and biological woman. I know these things because I believe that the Bible is the standard on how to live life and God's wisdom is the source of any good that our civilization once had. No, I am so not perfect, I have sinned over and over again in my past and deserve death, but God is so rich in mercy that Jesus' blood washes my sin away, and he can do the same for you!

If you hold beliefs that deviate from what the Bible lays down, and you keep listening to the constant repeating whispers of error and lies and believe what they say, nothing is going to change and the depth of your misery will only get worse and worse. Why not try something new and listen instead to the God who created you, who wants a relationship with you, but wants it the right way? If you think I'm wrong, that's your opinion, but I challenge you to see how right and wise God is in his Word, his love and his commandments. If you can't see it, won't believe it and think Christians are bigots, there's nothing I can say that will convince you -- the devil has blinded you to the truth. But let me ask you this -- who loves you and cares about you? Certainly not the devil! Honestly -- what do you have to lose by trusting your heart, your life and your future to Jesus?

It's late and I want to go to bed, but I really wanted to post this first. Unfortunately there is no real justice from this corrupted world. Hours and hours of viewing the news and seeing how American lawmakers discuss bills, amendments and the like just drives the point home -- the only leader who has the wisdom, love and power to make it all work out right is our God, our Creator, our Lord! All praise, honor and glory be to him!

God bless you, and thank you for reading! Emoji of face grinning big
